It can even be folded if that\u2019s your preference.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"stability-tracking\">Stability &amp; Tracking<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The aforementioned rudder makes this a reliable boat that <strong>tracks well in crosswinds and strong tides<\/strong>. It also handles well without the rudder and you may find that it tracks fine without it in calm conditions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Sea Ghost 130\u2019s wide hull makes this a stable boat that beginners will appreciate. When you\u2019re reeling in the big one, having a stable platform underneath as you reach for the net is invaluable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On calm days, braver paddlers may even feel confident enough to try casting while standing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"durability\">Durability<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Like most plastic kayaks, the Sea Ghost 130\u2019s polyethylene hull can <strong>absorb most scraps, drops and collisions.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don\u2019t look at that as a Get Out of Jail Free card. Paddlers should exercise caution not to ram too hard into rocks or other obstacles regardless of their boat\u2019s material. You can also increase the lifespan of your boat by carrying it to the water in lieu of dragging it.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Use the same attentiveness when you\u2019re coming into rocky beaches or landing in heavy surf. Able to hold 550 pounds, the Sea Ghost 130 can hold a paddler, their gear, and all the fish they can catch. Getting the rudder and scuppers included is terrific value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With all the accessories, the 75-pound carry to the water feels like a decent trade-off.
